no...mine was working fine till it over heated. the one on the passenger side is the same one as the one on the drive site neither had any wires o it the one on the driver side i have it wired to...

thank you im glad u told me that before i went out and did all that work to find out that it wasn't going to work....i basically already did that i installed a cam out of a 76 5.7 with flat lifters...

yup coolan is green as can be, radiator has steam coming from it. there is no bubbling just the heater hose or what ever running into it. the oil is dark brown like it should be i just changed it...

i did its still there.....the stupid thing always runs hot. i know gm made these cars to run a lil hotter but still.....the other thing i was thinking was coolant fan switch, or cooling fan...
