I live in a county in Ohio where there is no smog requirments, but selling to a guy in Ventura county Cali. My question is i have no smog equipment on my 92 Trans Am vert., but do have the cats still...

Your right, 663 made in 1992. It is rare, but not everything rare is worth $$$. These types of cars have a very select market, which is bad and good for the seller.

Fixed it. It was the vss, shaft broke off where the speedo gear slides on! Little sucker was more money than i thought it would be. ($106.00 from NAPA). There was like 3 or 4 different model #'s and...

I have a 92 T.A. (305 tpi, auto trans) and the speedometer and cruise control stopped working the other day. Checked fuse panel and all is well. Is it my speedo cable? Any input would be appreciated....

I agree, sounds like a timing problem. With that many miles, your timing chain could have stretched and skipped a tooth???

Tuning these modified engines can be tricky without a shop to help you out. Especially an LS1 swap. I would consider a high performance 350 carb. setup, might be easier. Fuel injection can be tricky,...

I have a 92 Trans Am convertable, just replaced the fact. 2.73 with a 3.73.
Its a 305 auto. What speedo gear do i need? Also im running into trouble with the engine missing at around 70mph? or so....
