Headers would be a pain, I seen one guy years ago put a 455 in a 84 Firebird and he modified the headers. Some tubes he had to cut and twist and rebend to fit. Much easier to use Ram Air manifolds...

Final install with AN fittings. I used 4an and 3an to match the diameters of the front and rears. The threads are metric bubble so need to convert to inverted flare.

More room next to my Pontiac...

Not really hard but when you use a drift to remove the race,the drift will be pushing on the shim since it’s sandwiches between the race. Use a brass punch so you don’t mark it.

Was your hangers and rubber connectors the same as mine? You can see from my pictures how much they hang down. I was going to cut them and reweld them back to shorten the distance.
