Something like this needs to be tig welded aluminum .090 maybe .060. Are you just wanting a square/rectangle or something more oddly shaped?

Cutting the floor for this job would be no different than cutting them to weld new pans in. You could tack up some bracing if you really wanted to. Welding the rails in though is a different story....

Millermatic 250 is a nice welder, we have two of them at work and they are great. Great for medium to heavy fab. If it was in a clean shop and taken care of 700 would be a good price.
