Yes there is 3 holes in the center of your decklid under spoiler. 2 are mounting holes for bolts and 1 is for the 3rd brake light with and rubber grommet. Remove the plastic panel under your decklid...

No, they should be up against the block. You can tweak them alot before they kink/bend. Just move them enough to get away from touching the header. suprised you dont hear a rattle from under the car.
