I bought a 92 Firebird trans am with a new paint job for $5300 and that was shipped from CA. It is a v8 and kick butt. You will be able to find a sweet 3rd gen for $5k or less. Keep checking...

just put the same set up on my car...I used Teflon tape though...I did not put the tape all the way down the sensor so it will still ground. I had to cut and splice my wire too. It is an easy job...

so you are saying, pull off the egr...clean it...don't mess with the part underneath it that is connected to the engine? I don't want to mess anything up and if all it takes is bolting on a new EGR...

I know its a weird hook up...I will take a picture and post it this evening, I think it is a way to stop up a vaccum line...I am not a mechanic, but it is a hose coming out of the top of the radiator...
