Re: Chrysler CD player radio, adapted to fit a Thirdgen

Thanks for your feedback! The Chrysler units are one of my favorite "retro" radios -- classic look, vacuum-fluorescent display, CD player, and super reliable. I've had several Jeeps over the years...

Re: Rear hatch pulldown motor, '91-92

I don't really have an easy way to test it, unfortunately. The vehicle it came from was in decent shape, so I don't have a reason to believe it wouldn't work.

Re: Delco tape radio decks, two different styles

You may need to swap the bracket from your existing radio. (Thirdgens have the screw holes on the side, I believe.) In my experience, these Delco radios will fit a bunch of GM vehicles. I did not...

Re: Delco tape radio decks, two different styles

It should fit in a USPS medium flat rate box, so the shipping would be $12.65, for a grand total of $32.65. (Edit: I just saw this was my 1000th post. Haha. I've been a member for a looong time!)

Re: Nakamichi CD player radio, old-school look for Thirdgens

Nice! I'm glad someone else is using a Nak head unit. They're really a great piece of equipment. Very high quality stuff.

Re: 1228746 ECM

I'd use a USPS medium flat rate box with some good padding, so shipping would be $12.65. I'll accept PayPal. If you're interested, send me a PM and we can work out the details. Thanks!

Re: LS1 front brakes, brand new; rotors, calipers, pads, OEM

Yes, everything is included. You'll need to install the seals and pistons in the calipers, but all of the hardware should be there. Note that I have one guy ahead of you who's interested.

Re: ALDL fuel data messages (MPG display retrofit with TBI)

L98_383_Stroker, I appreciate your reply, but that's not really what I'm looking for. I've seen the aftermarket solutions and I'd prefer to use OEM components.

So, nobody has any insight on these...

Re: hunting

Gotcha on the TPS. The IAC itself just screws in, but the minimum air screw needs to be set so that the IAC isn't bottomed out in one direction or the other.

Have you properly set the IAC valve and TPS? Check out this tech article (https://www.thirdgen.org/tpimod2) for instructions on how to do it.
