Re: Engine running terrible, weird oil leak

That's good. I was afraid the block was cracked or something, I don't think that has ever leaked before but then again it is only really noticeable at higher RPMs so probably wouldn't have noticed it...

Re: Engine dies under when I hit my brakes

If it happens only when you use the turn signal or brake it could be faulty wiring to the rear stop light. I would start there. Maybe pull the stop light fuse and see if it still does it.

Re: How to put a camaro on a tow truck

This happened to one of my hood louvers. They loaded it backwards and I guess the wind caught it ripped it in half. A couple studs were broken so that gave it just enough leverage to break.

Re: exhaust silencer?

Right, a muffler. Thank you for the completely obvious reply that didn't help at all.

I was looking for something to supplement the muffler once a year to pass inspection.

exhaust silencer?

I recently moved from Kansas to New York so now I need to get the yearly inspection. My exhaust is too loud though, does anyone have any experience with exhaust silencers? I could only find...

Re: HELP! Turn key no start, vats? ignition switch? ECC?

The wires are purple/white and black/white. I think the orange wires you are talking about go to the airbags.

Re: My car is too fast for the battery cable

If he disconnects the negative battery cable and connects the light from a good ground to the negative battery post, a short will activate the light. The light shouldn't have power when only...

Re: My car is too fast for the battery cable

Hook up a test light and pull the fuses one by one until the light goes off, then that is the circuit that is shorted. If the light stays on even after all fuses are pulled, then it is probably the...

Re: car will not start, no power to anything!

This exact same thing happened to me a while back and it was a loose battery cable. You might check the fusible link too, it could be broken but barely making a connection.

Re: car will not start, no power to anything!

Make sure the ground cable on the battery is tight. If not that, check the cables that go to the starter and alternator for tightness too.

Re: how low is to low??

My front end scrapes all the time. It looks terrible. If I merge on to a road from a driveway or parking lot that has any kind of slope it will drag. Sometimes the front spoiler will even fold back...
