My 1985 Z-28 TPI and 1986 IROC-Z TPI has alternator on passenger side AC compressor on driver side. They may have put them both ways.

I put my buttons in the overhead console for front seats. I put the buttons for the rear seats in the ashtray for rear seats. I had a extra set of elements so I stuck them in rear seats.

Gauge Cluster Blinker Lights

I replaced my 85 MPH cluster with a 145 mph. When testing new speedometer. The blinker lights on cluster do not work on right or left signal. I tried the 4 ways still no blinker lights on cluster....

Cruise Control Release Switch

Can anyone tell me if the cruise control release switch is the same on 85 thru 88? I have a 85 Z with cruise. Trouble is I am have trouble finding a part number for release switches under 88 models....

I have a 85 Z-28. All needles on cluster are pointing in the 9:00 o'clock position when engine is cut off. When engine is started the tach needle moves up from that position. When car starts moving...
