Quality and age of the power valve makes a difference as well. I went through several valves from napa before finally buying a genuine holley. Carb was new enough to have pv protection allready....

Ash is extremely fine. We had it here when mt st helens blew. You definatly dont want to be using a k&n cotton&oil type air filter with this stuff. Get a real good paper filter, change it often....

Amazing where you can find pictures of your own car... I like my powder coat wheels of course. ;) I think the snowflakes look better on a 2nd gen, but the second wheel looks pretty good too.

I have a craftsman roto tool which is similar. I used it for porting my heads and its more then powerful enough. I actually had to build a rheostat assembly to turn it down.

The dorman kit is only for the lower hinge. If you want to repair the upper hinge you're stuck buying the TDS kits. The upper hinges are totally different then any other bushing kit out there.

I used a Hawks set too. The Hampton vinyl. I very carefully used a heat gun on mine. It took alot of time and didnt get it all. After about a year now most of the wrinkles have disappeared.

They're reverse indiglo gauge overlays. I found them on ebay several years ago. They're only available for the 120mph speedo though.

My 87 formula had the 85mph electronic speedo. When I put the indiglo overlays in they only made them for the 120mph speedo. So I swapped in a 120mph unit. Direct swap.
