Accel SUPERAM F/S

Accel Superam Upper plenum and runners for sale. Will bolt to a factory TPI lower manifold. In very good condition, no damage. I will include extra bolts and extra gaskets. This intake is fast and is the coolest looking IMO. Look up the price in summit or jegs and then email me offers. Intake is in NY. offering at a discount to fellow thirdgeners first, then ebay. btw, it is the only EGR provisioned aftermarket intake. i'll tell ya, i think it is $820 new, but i will take $400 plus $20 shipped to the first with the cash... I take paypal too. It's a good buy, as i hear LPE is currently out of stock and it's over half off the new price, and the intake is in good shape. 631-327-2309 -j

yeah, i edited above,... i'll take $420 shipped which is half the price new. It's $820 new plus s&H, or it goes to ebay for more.

Wow! So you posted something without realizing what it might be worth. And when it "sold" in a hurry you back out of the deal? That's outstanding!!!

I see you earned that Negative One sellers rating! Name: loser.gif

Re: Accel SUPERAM F/S

lol, it never sold, no cash in hand no sale...just promises...and i told him forget it before he even sent a check...and you know what, it's my damn money, and no skin off his back, i didn't take his money, nor did he even send it to me,..and if you don't like it, then go away. i only had a bunch of poeple tell me what it was worth after i posted it, so i told the guy forget it. would you give away $500? if so, send it to me, i will consider it payment, add it to his $400, and i'll send him the intake. if you don't want to give away $500, why should i? it sucks, he ALMOST got a steal, now it's going on ebay...too bad i found out what it was worth before he grabe it for 60% below market value...and that's okay for him to do huh? think about it, put yourself in my shoes, i haven't taken any moeny, just decided to raise the price, as it is worth much more...stupid for me not to, wouldn't you? if you wouldn't then you're either rich, or too nice..now it's going on ebay, whre he can get a "fair" price relative to other bidders. and as for the negative 1 sellers rating, i could care less, cause this ain't ebay, and it don't matter. ther is nothing wrong with what i did, i didn't steal, i just decided not to sell. if you went to a car dealer and they told you 10k for a new vette and then backed out, would you think they should get a negative sellers rating, or would you understand the mistake on their part, or would you cry about it,...it happens...it's called an accident.

Re: Accel SUPERAM F/S

So...You post it too cheap...A buyer agrees to buy it..You back out..Sounds like your a pretty dishonest person.

What's a buyer gonnado? "Oh no...Lemme give $1000..$420 is to cheap."

Suck it up, learn from your mistake. YOU set the price first, NOT the buyer. Honor your deal. It's not like he tried to lowball you. You lowballed yourself.

I've got that before & kicked myself for it. But my word & honor are more valuable than money.

For this....You'll see a lower return in any future deals, because you can't be trusted to honor YOUR prices.

Re: Accel SUPERAM F/S

lol...once again, no cash in hand, just promises,..and if i decided to sell elsewhere, or not sell, or sell to someone else, my choice.. i didn't take $ from the guy! all i did was change my mind...oh and i even apologized for any inconvenience. i agree it sucks that he thought he was getting a steal and then i decided not to sell it to him, but that happens, poeple change their minds all the time..ever try to list something, and 10 poeple say they are gonna take it and they all never come through, for all i know, he was never even gonna send money..and all that "honor" jazz, GET OVER IT. i don't sell stuff here ever, usually not real buyers, i've been a member here for 10 years, since before the new site, and never sold anything on here for this reason, lot's of kids with "feelings" that get hurt ...toughen up, that's life, sometime it sucks, sometimes not, grow up, get into the real world, get fired or yelled at, or made fun of and deal with it! don't be a friggen baby. i already apologized to him, so he should suck it up, and quite frankly, he gave me a bad rating, his choice... and i returned the favor. so what who cares? if i can't get what i want and see a "lower return" in future deals, then i simply won't sell MY item, just like i did here. See that's the funny thing, it's my choice, not yours or his, and atleast i didn't steal from him, i just told him i decided not to sell right now. grow up, get a real job, ad a house and a family and then tell me how much bs like this and stupid seller ratings and honor really matter when you have a family to raise. I am in NY, there is no honor here anymore, i learned that.. i was upfront and honest about why i backed out...i didn't cover up like you children would by saying something like "oh my freind really wanted it, so i have to sell it to him"....instead, i sucked it up, told him the truth and apologized to the dude, but atleast i told him the truth....and it ended our 5 email relationship...whatever, it happens...it is what it is, but I aint giving away $500, and plenty of people on this very board that I don't even know, emailed me to tell my i am crazy to sell it for $400, and that i should put it on ebay. they were nice enough to help a fellow 3rd genner out and look out for me....

Don't whine, just honor your word.

The rest of us with real houses and real families don't like to be jerked around. We're on here because we love our hobby, love our cars. We're on these forums because we can hang around with like-minded peeps. We leave the BS at the door, pull up the keyboard, and talk about crap that the wife and coworkers don't understand, like AF ratios and cam specs. FWIW, I've been a lurker on here for years, and this is the saddest thing I've seen. I've bought and sold stuff on other forums to people states away, and made some really good friends as a result. I've gone as far as shipping a Corvette across state lines on my dime to a person I'd never met, but knew for years on another forum. All that before his check even cleared.

Grow up, son. Take your knocks and move on. Or put your SR on a shelf, and revel in the knowlege that "you saved a few bucks", and screwed someone else in the process.

Have a nice day...

Get over it guys you missed out on a really good deal for a superram. Doesnt make him a bad guy for changing his mind. Even though he set the price he wised up to what he was doing.

Keep looking a good deal will come along.

They didn't miss out....They are only guilty of trying to deal with person who has NO sense of honor & cannot be trusted. Hell, I'm betting doesn't even HAVE ONE! He probably lied about that part too.

For his unscrupulous actions, on TGO, the TGO Mods should put put him, on Probation AT LEAST. For his lack of honoring his ad, it should be automatic banishment!

i think the guy was wrong, he knew how much it was worth, he should just admit he was wrong and everyone should calm down, who knows he could be a good guy to do business with one day buying or selling.

Oh...He admitted that he found out what it was worth after he posted it. Thing is...He already had a buyer, for the advertised price & he backed out.

Just not very honest to back out, halfway through a deal.

I've kicked myself for losing & on deals, but a deal is a deal. Teaches people to research FIRST, then put a price on it.

I've made mistakes, but *I* suffer for MY mistakes. Not screw others over.

Just because he only got 1 Negative feedback, on this site, it doesn't mean others didn't get screwed over too, and just never left feedback.

I've sold 60 STS units, but how much feedback do I have on them? Not 60. Maybe 5 people left feedback?

You guys should really let this one go. I can personally vouch for Justin. He is a good friend and a straight up honest guy. Not for the old "we should all get along speech" but damn cut the guy some slack.

I'm not whining....I never wanted it..Never asked for it....Never even expressed interest in it.

Your just upset that I make valid points & spend your time trying to defend him. Why? I dunno...

Re: Accel SUPERAM F/S

maybe people are defending him because your crying that he backed out of a sale. WTF, what is the difference here or if a store has a wrong price tag on a product? either way, their not going to let it go for less than its worth. And FYI, its the internet, stop acting like he had a legal signed document saying the item was for sale for a certain price. STFU.

If you get to the counter & the store mispriced it, they are still gonna honor the advertised price...Like he should have.

I can't believe ya'll are spending YOUR time defending him, than he does himself!

Ya'll spend all this time & effort, but have nothing valid to back it up.

He advertised...
He had a buyer...
The seller backed out. Plain & simple.
Whether the seller was losing $2 or $200, he should accept his consequences & live with his mistake. Only takes once for a smart person to learn.

I screwed up on shipping once, but did I back out or ask the buyer for more $? No. I screwed up...My problem.

Re: Accel SUPERAM F/S

ok, i swore i wasn't gonna read any of this bs, nor reply, but here goes: If you read the post carefully, you will see a few things: a) it is more than a $200 difference, b) I apologized for the change of mind c)it was NOT a binding contract d) i didn't take his money, nor did he ever even put it in the mail, because i apologized and told him it was not for sale anymore. e) i got multiple emails from other fellow thirdgenners telling me i am crazy to sell it so cheap (thanks guys) f)i offered to sell it if anyone wants to send me $500 plus his $400, then i will ship it to him (if u don't want to give away $500, why should i?) g)it's none of your business, i got my negative one rating, i'm a big boy, i can accept that, (even thought there was never a sale and i don't believe non sales should be rated) h)this is like the abortion argument, old and stupid, difference of opinions. i) i have been a member of this board for a good 10 years maybe 12, and I have never had a problem on here j) i have a 100% perfect ebay rating on binding sales and purchases with 81 feedback score k) it is what it is l) I have more important things to worry about financially than honoring a mistake that i made, the economy is bad and i am not giving money away. m) have you people been losing sleep over this for 2 weeks now!?!?!? n) i have no time to argue this, sorry that you have so much time to try to crucify me, u don't know me, why do you feel the need to keep on it o) i could go on forever with more good points, but some of you will not see it my way, i could use the whole alphabet. but you know, thanks to those of you who understand, and would someone PLEASE lock this thread for the sake of the boards...otherwise i will just keep reading an almost laughing at some of the rediculousness.

Hey george, good to here from you, i have to send pics of the new setup,it is sick...

btw everyone, i have an accell base manifold for sale, for those of you who would want it, and would still deal with me. I will not specify a price here, you can pm me and we can talk privately. i'll probably put up a new thrread for that soon.

Re: Accel SUPERAM F/S

Justin, just a word to the wise. Next time something like this happens make sure you just say that you are not going to sell it and you will be using it instead. I think most would have been cool with that. Also, now what your stuff is worth before putting it up for sale. That is all from me for this thread.
