Cam & Lifter Kit

I have a Cam & Lifter kit and I need to know if it will work in my car. Here is the info: Crane Energizer 272 H10 Matched Cam & Lifter Kit, Part #100052. It says it's for Chevy V8 262-400, 57-87. If it won't work in mine, can you tell me why (other than the fact it says for 57-87 )? If you have a website, let me know. I did a search and came up with nothing. Thanks. For info on my car, check out my Sig!

88+ is a roller block. That cam and lifter set isn't a roller set.....

Will it work? I dunno .

Don't know if it will work.

Since you already have a roller block, stick with a roller setup. The roller is easier on the cam and you can get a higher lift out of it.

Are you able to exchange it?

Definatly see if you can exchange it for a roller cam. The flat tap should work but the roller cams will have a far more aggressive ramp on the lift, allowing the valve to open sooner.

You can reuse the roller liffters out your current motor. Just check them for abnormal wear. They don't get wore down like the flat tapet cams do.

the cam would fit in the hole but the flat tappet lifters or to small rollers are bigger
