Ok guys i started a new thread to make sure everyone would see that we have another day set just incase they havent checked the other thread.Hopefully the weather will be on our side this time and hopefully be cooler than last time,so if you havent made plans for the 11th of november i hope you can make it out so that we can represent the ''third-gens'' instead of only seeing one or two of them like every other time i go.If you can make it please make sure to sign on to this thread..thanx charles

I seriously doubt I will be able to make it to the nov 11th funday... There is maybe a 25% chance I will be able to make it. whens the next funday TGO will be gathering at? Assuming the next one is in december I WILL make it to the next one for sure....

Is there a link, or a schedule, or a map? Me & a few of the boys from SC will be down in WPB over the weekend. maybe Orlando will be on our way back if it seems worthwhile otherwise look for us cruising up 95 in my 92.

I oyur coming up 95 all you have to do is get off on state road 50 and take it west for about 20 mins and you will be at the track even if alot of the guys from here dont show up you and your buddies should still stop by because there also doing a street car shoot out on the same day so it will def. be worht it imo if you want to get ahold of me just send me a pm and i will give you my number...charles

It's more like they run between our rounds. They usually block off 1 of the fast lanes for them.

Unfortunately, I won't be there. Parents anniversary and they are renewing there vows and have a whole ceremony over in Daytona where they were originally married. Oh well.

When i went last month and got rained out they said that they were locking the field with the cars they already had which was 14,its more of a local points series than a national event like they had two weeks ago so if you want to run you will have plenty of time its open for 7 hours 10am-5pm

is there a pit area at the end of the track or do you have to come down a return road? Id like to get my carb tuned in a little better.

There is a return road, but people use the entire side of the track/ staging area as "the pits." You can pull off to the side anywhere.

Plus there ia a long raod over by tech that the guys use just for stuff like that.On another note remember anyonewho wants to run you cannot have open toed shoes and you have to have long pants(not nylon) and a shirt with a min. of a 4 inch sleeve

Well... didn't make it. Hurt my back at work Friday, tried to shrug it off and made it worse working on the cars yesterday. Looks like it will be December before I make it back out there.

Me and "68rs/ss ragtop" went i daont know what he ran but you can check the drag racing board for my times,there was so many cars and cars blowing up that i only got to run twice but the weather was great hope to see you guys at december's funday sunday event

Yep, it was a good time. Since I was passing through on my way back to SC I only made 1 pass. 14.6 @ 97 w/ a .6 r/t. My 3rd run total on the new motor. With the stop to run and a few times playing against a 3rd gen on the highway, the car still averaged 22mpg on the trip Once I start to modify the stock set up I see a 13 in my future.

There were a lot of nice cars there. But like Charles said, a lot were blowing up. I think the fastest I saw was a 7.7 before I left.

Hope I can get by again sometime, it was a lot of fun.

When you come in and you go past the BIG wall and turn left you take that road until it turns left then you go straight until you get to the scales it looks like a carport and it is next to the booth were you get your time slips
