Buy this 1992 Z28 or start paying for my 6.0 swap?

I just found a 1992 Z28 350,auto,new paint needs hood blisters and side markers and I can get it for less than $2k. So should I buy the car or go ahead with my swap??? This is driving me nuts! Here are pics of the car.

Re: Buy this 1992 Z28 or start paying for my 6.0 swap?

I talked to the guy just a little ago and he said he would let it go for $1700. I just made plans to do a 6.0 swap and this falls in my lap. I really want to get it. I am just afraid if I do it will be like having two mouths to feed instead of 1.

Maybe it's just me but a 92 with a 350 and new paint for under $2k makes me a little weary as to what's actually wrong with it...If that paint job was done right it would have cost him a good chunk of what he's asking for the car atleast...Any more background on it?

It looks like the guy has a small car lot. Not much background on the car.

More $$$ and stress with a second car...Stay with the 6.0 plan.

OK here is what i found out. It is not a heritage car. It was originally a gray color. I have never seen a gray 92 z. It needs a headliner, front grill, fog lights, side markers and a hood latch. This is the information that I got over the phone

Which means $$. Do your swap, somebody's project isn't worth losing a 6.0 over.

Yeah thats what I am thinking. I found a local shop that can do my 6.0 swap and provide everything for $6000? That includes intake and cam upgrade. Does this sound like a good price?
