Sux when that happens... good opportunity to upgrade to a reasonable-cost CD player. A good one for about $100 is the Sony Xplode available from Circuit City or Best Buy in the Phoenix area -- here's the link:

Sony CDX-GT200 CD Receiver/MP3/WMA Player

It plays MP3s, has AUX stereo mini plug on the removable front faceplate to input any audio source such as portable MP3 player, the class physics lecture your buddy taped when you cut the class, or a portable scanner so you can listen to the cops responding to "smash and grabs" of car entertainment systems where the faceplates were unfortunately left ON the player. The unit also has a sub-out in the rear panel. I've found this player to be an excellent replacement for an aging Alpine and it is extremely convenient to plug in a Garmin GPS for voice directions and then switch sources to the MP3 CDR for hours of sonic entertainment.

Since the thieves were nice enough to not crowbar the interior, the install should be a 10-minute job. Next time you might not be so lucky ... faceplates and other valuables not left in plain sight can prevent most of these inconveniences...

I have the cd deck from my 94 TA. I'll give it to you for 10 bucks if you can figure out how to wire it into your car.

The Sony Xplod is a bit pricey for what it is. Sony EVERYTHING is like that. I personally recommend Kenwood, Pioneer, and JVC. I'm partial to the JVC, and the KD-S52 Head Unit plays MP3's, can hook up to JVC's MP3 Disc Changer, is Satellite Radio ready, can run your iPod stock. It's a great little head unit, and I think it only ran $150 at walmart.
