plans for my 305

well I said I was going to build a bad@ss 305 several months ago and I'm well on my way. Starting with nigels old 305 I decided to use my old ZZ4 cam with 1.6 rockers, cleanup the existing heads and then top it all off with a new intake. I hope to be done in the fall sometime so I can finish off Vincent and do it with a 5.0. With Dwaynes' ram-air boxes I received yesterday (thanks dwayne) I should have all the air needed to let this baby breath, if not I'll just add the biggest cam I can.

So what about

What happened with the Super charger plans with the Sr and new heads and cam? You know Vince has had many years to get his combination right to run 11's by now maybe this time that's what he is intended to do. I know in time I will be right there with you guys to b.s the good times away..But who will have the combination to take the platter. Time will tell.

I'll pass on the supercharger. Vincent has had a super-ram and zz9 cam since lingenfelter built the original molds and they had a specific design for the F-body, yet has only made it into the 12's recently (this century) and only by 1 RCH I have many eggs in my basket right now and after that I'll sort out my PE-mode problem.

Mike has a 2.8.

~2.8L on this side and ~2.8L on the other

I thought

You already had that problem solved Well hopefully it's not to much more in a pita, So we can see what your going to run with the new set up.. Good Luck with it..
Well, That combination Vince has been using probably is not good enough for him to pull any thing better, Why use the same combination again, Cam is important on this next build so hopefully he does something right for a change. Me I just bought the biggest you can go why play with the small stuff when you can go all out, no need to spend money not 2 but 3 times.. You guys are lucky you have the experience to do this over and over, I am having a hell of a time just to do it once, and once it's all done I don't want to do it again led alone pay for it all to be done.. I am sure it will be enough hp for my pleasure to enjoy rather it's a winner or loser.

Hey believe you me; I would be the first to jump all over this particular SuperRam, it’s a Lingenfelter original, from Lingenfelter. I had no idea that James was so “connected” and had access to such rarities. Who would have known, an original “F-body” Super Ram just lying around? I’ll tell you straight, this is going to be a pretty lethal combination when it’s all done. It’s a little pricey for a 305 in my opinion, but hey man whatever floats your boat.

Oh and I’m building a 3.8L not a 2.8L. In this case I think bigger is better

All Those Super Rams?

Bullsh*t!:nono: I like the fake camera shots of the Super Rams like you were ballin' out of control. In maybe a month an 1/2 from now, I should be back on the road and I will hit the new and improved California Speedway 1/4 mi to put up some new times for ya asses to see. But for now, I will keep quiet until that day come.
