MAT sensor blues... any other suggestions, Don?

Replaced the MAT sensor on Saturday, since the Diacom indicated it was reading -13* in open loop (uhh... a slight problem!) after replacing, it seems to run even worse than before! I Checked that all vacuum hoses and sensors were hooked back up correctly, but the car now acts like it's running on 6 cylinders. RPM is fluctuating up and down ~1k at idle, lacking power, basically running like a POS. I am going to replace out the plugs, cap, and rotor this weekend, as well as double check the timing... anyone else have a similar experience or have any idea on what to check next? I'm wondering if maybe something isn't quite right with my ECM, it did seem to run a little better when I borrowed Don's on the cruise, but still ran less than perfect. Maybe I'll grab one next time I'm at the boneyard.

Ok, take the one you took from the plenum and use it to replace the one in the front of the intake manifold (CTS)(with the yellow & black wires) . That one controls fuel delivery too. (they are the same)

I'll give the CTS a shot, but I'm beginning to think that since it runs so crappy whether it's in open or closed loop, that it may be something unrelated to the ECM. I'm starting to think that maybe one or more of the cylinders may be misfiring or not firing at all, but I thought we ruled that out when we hooked it up to the computer.

When I get it back from the top shop on Thursday, I'll start trying to eliminating more possibilities...

Thanks again, Don, for your time... now get back to enjoying your b-day!
