Re: Picnic at Mile Square Park discussion

I was expecting someone else to chime in here for you, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm always up to meeting fellow third gen owners from other parts of the country. What part of Oregon are you from? My wife and I are going to Gleneden Beach at the end of September.

Oops, I just checked the date and I won't be in town that day.

Re: Picnic at Mile Square Park discussion

Of course you can come Tony. And any other thirdgenner who wants to go.

I dont check the board every day, so if you need to get ahold of me, use email.

Who else is coming and what are you bringing?? Not many people have signed up yet.

Re: Picnic at Mile Square Park discussion

.. i can bring whatever.

i see from the other site we need catchup.. i happen to have shopped wrong and ended up with a redundant bottle of generic brand catchup. I'll bring that. i will also provide a 24 pack of water, and a 12 pack of coke.

i can't bring any meat, as i do not have an ice chest, but i could bring buns, and other stuff as well. how many usually attend?

*just remembered i registered on sc3g... i'll post over there.

Re: Picnic at Mile Square Park discussion

Here's something to go see right after the picnic, it's pretty cool when they fire and rev up a bunch of dragsters at the same time!

3rd Annual Dragster Expo & Car Show
Saturday, July 12
3pm - 9pm

The Third Annual Dragster and Custom Car Expo will be held on July 12th, 2008 along Atlantic Boulevard in front of the HSLB Gallery. The Bixby Knolls Improvement Association has agreed to reserve spaces for HSLB members and friends to display their custom and antique cars and motorcycles in front of our Gallery at 4258 Atlantic Boulevard. This will be a prime location to display our cars and bikes together as a group. The HSLB staff will have a special display and will be open.

This is a great opportunity to put your favorite hobby together with your favorite organization and showcase both of them in our new neighborhood. Dust off your classic and custom machines and come out for an evening of fun with your friends. Last year over 5000 people attended this show and this year is expected to top that.

Re: Picnic at Mile Square Park discussion

There is a list of things to bring on the sc3g.org thread I posted above. I'm not sure what you mean by "old list."

841LE, I'm not sure what happened, but you dont have an account on sc3g.org. You'll have to register again.

Re: Picnic at Mile Square Park discussion

I'm getting there about 10:30 am to reserve the spot and set up. I will try to get one of the two areas in Lot F like always. (F for f-body) You all can show up any time after that. I plan on lunch being around 12:30pm and we'll stay until 3 or 4.

I'll probably be in my wife's white Tacoma pickup. Just look for our big green canopy.

Jason, I got married in November 2006.

Allen, I dunno what to tell you, other than its operator error. Can you still view the website and look at the list I posted?
