93.5 K-DAY is BACKKKK

I am soo excited that 93.5 K-Day is back on the air. The biggest and baddest old school rap radio station history. It was called the beat for a few years and they were playing the new garbage on the radio now a days. I hadnt listened to the radio in awhile becuase even power 106 and gone down south leaning more to the new garbage. But the old school K-day plays is awesome. The original K-DAY in the 80s and 90s that we all remember and love growin up in the ghetto of LA. Gangsta Rap as we know it started through this station in the 80s. Sorry about rambling on, but I was just soo excited to hear it was back.

Cool! I agree theres alot of garbage and idiots on the radio nowadays. Theres no substance in Hip Hop right now. I like all kinds of music tho, as long as it has some meaning and real effort is put into it, u know?

I remember K-Day from the late 60s and early 70s before Disco. It wasn't so bad then.

Ok, I know I kinda hijacked it but...
I heard one radio station telling people about a new measure or something, where they are trying to get rid of free radio and make it all satellite, pay-only stations?
Anybody know anything about that.

Thirdgen content: I don't want to have to change the radio in my third gen because of some new law.

its kinda weird that you mention that, about 2 weeks ago i had Sirius satellite radio installed in my 91 RS (did it for Howard Stern HEY NOW!) well when i was talking to the person on the phone helping me connect it, we start talking about stern and if he was going to stay with Sirius blah blah blah. well he advised me to buy Sirius stock shares and that i will be calling him back thanking him for the heads up. he didn't want to tell me why to buy, just telling me to do it. said in a few months everything is going to change for Sirius. (in a good way) so now that you have mention this im starting to think maybe they ARE trying to make the switch who knows.
