What solutions are there for 4th e-brake cables??

I have a 4th gen rear I want to swap in this weekend but I've read that the e-brake cables are too long. What are some solution ideas that would allow me to use the ebrake cables that came with the rear? How effective have these solutions been?

Yeah, I actually found a good deal on a pair so that's what I'm gonna do. Thanks.
