87 drum to a 88 disk

i have a 87 iroc and my rear end just went out.
i have a disk rear end out of a 88 iroc. it is out of a manual 305. it has the g92 option. it is a 3.45 gear. what will i need to grab of the 88 to make it work on my 87. (master cylinder, e-brake cable)?
thanks
mike

Hi Mike...where ya been?

Since it's a drum to start you'll need the e-brake cables but that's about it. I don't think I'd worry about the prop valve any, and definitely not the master. I'd probably swap to PBR rear brakes though.

Congrats on the new arrival, we're expecting too.

You'll have to put up with those old calipers unless you do the recall kit install which isn't too hard, just a caliper rebuild. Just pull the e-brake cables along with the rear if you can, they will work with that rear. And yes, I forgot about the speedo gear swap. You'll have to do that to get the speedo to read right.

$100 for a 3.45 9 bolt...nice find!
