brakes pulling to the right ????

what is the most likely culprit for the front brakes to pull to the right?? I did change my front calipers a couple of summer ago b/c I thought the WS6 calipers were bigger only to find out they were not after I had already changed them, not really sure where my originals are.I am not sure if maybe the pads maybe being thicker on the right side would cause it (I doubt it) or maybe the left caliper is just plain shot and the right one is really doing all the work. anyway to test a caliper??? I have 2 spare sets of calipers from parts cars that I could use but I am not really sure how to test something like that. maybe I could rebuild my calipers, not sure what is involved though.

My 88 did the same thing till I put new rotors on it. The inside edges were grooved out bad!

Stock rubber brake hoses are shot, replace with SS braided lines.

it may sound stupid, but verify that your air pressure is the same all around. that was the old culprit to my brake pull.

The flexible rubber brake hoses are prone to collapse. I would change them first.

I have had the same problem for a few months now. I have changed everything from the slide pins to the power booster, it still does it. I finally was told that it could be the control arm bushings are shot or the steering box is too loose. I am gonna try these soon.

If it pulls harder the harder you press on the brakes (not the faster you press on the brakes), you've got a problem with the brake mechanism, most likely on the left side.

If it pulls to the right as you apply the brakes, but doesn't pull harder as you press harder, you've got a restriction in the left side hydraulics. Mine was in the hose, as described above.

Mine will do it after a few hard brakes. The first time or two it stops straight as an arrow. After a day of driving it is pulling like a mother and the driver wheel is covered with brake dust while the pass side is clean.

After reading some of these posts, maybe I'll go ahead and recheck the flex lines and upgrade to the braided ss ones. Any suggestions on brand or th best place to buy??

Thanks

well I did some good looking at my break parts up front and my rotors are very smooth, no grooves at all. the brake pads are very thick, almost new looking.the rubber hoses look ok.
one thing I remember I did was last year. 1 week before the Car Craft show my right front line sprung a leak. I didn't have a parts car on hand so off to Napa I went and they said I needed 5 feet of line but all they had was a 4 footer. well I wasn't going to miss the Car Craft show without at least trying a 4 footer. I did get the 4 footer to work but I am def not happy with it. I already plan on changing out the line at the end of this July(after the Car Craft Show) hopefully but maybe this is my problem. I have a parts car on hand so I am taking that line and putting that one on my car and to do this right I am going to have to lift my motor up a bit with my Cherry picker. going to be a real puta but it will be replaced the right way when all is done. I'll keep you guys updated.
