Stock Tire Size for GTA rims

Stock Tire Size for GTA rims
Hey all,
I was wondering what the stock tire size for the 16" GTA rims are supposed to be.
Right now I have 245/50/R16 on them and the front tires rub when the wheel is turned all the way. I was thinking of going to a 225/55/R16 however my friend told me to hop on here and get some input from someone who actually has a GTA with these rims and knows what they came with. I have come to the conclusion that the previous owner bought these rims and put them on himself cuz the sticker on the door is giving me tire specs for 14" and 15" tires.

Stock is 245/50. I think the metal piece that stop-lock on the control arm is different for 15" vs 16" from the factory.
Where are they hitting? You might be able to clearance it a bit.

my stock gta rims have 245/50s on them and the fronts rub when turning to but my car is lowered 2"

I just bought a set myself but before I did I looked around for a while and noticed that everybody has 245/50's on them, they look the best on the rim and probably are the best when in comes to clearance since thats the size they came with from the factory, BTW can anybody suggest what type of tires I should run on my new rims ?
