Be careful with what you find on Ebay. The 17x9.5" TT2s on Ebay are almost always in a 4th gen offset. Those are one of the "standard" sizes that the wheel is available in, which is part of the "505" series.

A 17x9.5 in a thirdgen backspace is part of the "405" series, which is a custom made wheel, and therefore considerably more expensive. Because they're a custom made wheel, I also never see them on Ebay.

Wow! I wasn't aware of that. Alot of the guys who run auctions say they will start an auction for any size you want at your request. How about the 17X9? Is that made in a 3rdgen off set?

I should have been more clear in my post. Yes I need 5.5" backspacing which is special order and quite a bit more money. I see they have them at summit but they're $342 a piece. I was hoping that someone who may have purchased a set of 17x9.5s with 5.5 BS, would reply...
Thanks Guys

R+S Strauss, Do you have them out west? They are all over Jersey. Anyway, They have the ones you want for $323.00 Not much of a savings but times 4, It does add up.

I can do them for a little less, though depending on your area, shipping may or may not be an issue. PM me for info.

Shop around, get your best price and then take it to Discount Tire. I went to almost a dozen dealers locally and each one went a bit lower than the last. I took my best which was almost $1700 for a 17 x 8 wheel and tire package and they beat it by just over $100. A set of 17 x 8s with BFG KDW tires 245/45ZR17 mounted and balanced for $1573.00!
