three point strut brace w/ HSR

Car: 1991 Camaro RS

Transmission: T5 Swap
Axle/Gears: 10bolt 7.5" 3.23 soon to be 3.73
three point strut brace w/ HSR

I guess my question is a bit simple will a 3point strut brace for the TPI set up fit with my HSR or will i be building a custom one

Is a HSR taller? If so, I'd guess custom. I have an Edelbrock 3-pt and have MAYBE 3/16" clearance. I can sit in the car with the hood open, and see A LITTLE light under it, between the bar & the plenum. Under throttle stabs, it doesn't hit.

I think the BMRs are a plate over the center, not a box, so it would provide more clearance, but I'm not a fan of the BMR design. Seem, to me, like it would be too flexible in that center area, compared to a boxed section. Might be your only choice besides custom though.

i dont know really i went from carb to HSR.... sigh lol..... i have solid motor mounts so flex isnt a problem

On my 'Bird, I had some STB to hood clearance problems, but nothing a BFH couldn't fix!

No, a TPI version will not fit.

Stephen, your bird was the first issue I had ever heard with birds and clearance issues. Weird.

as for the mounts only thing ive had so im used to em.... lol T-Top rattles anyone....
