help needed with wheel and tire size asap..
Okay, here's my question. I have an oppurtunity to get a set of rims and tires for my 86 Trans Am. The fronts are 17x8 with 4.5" bs and 255's, the rears are 17x9 with 5" bs and 285's. Will I have any fitment issues? Is that enough bs in the rear to keep them from being either to far in or out?

Thanks. I guess 1/2 inch doesn't really make that much of a difference. It's the 285's that I'm worried about.. Don't want them rubbing.

you should be fine. And if you do have issues, its nothing a hammer wont fix. Provided the wheels have the right bolt pattern. you need 5 x 4.75
