Shocks, springs and struts replacements
Well had the 1992 RS in the air yesterday and the bad news is I need (or want) to replace shocks & springs. They look like factory issued and at 170,000 why not replace. And since i am doing this part of the car might as well do the struts too, right?
I have mostly a stock setup underneath except for a wonderbar and 3" exhaust, flowmaster 80's, etc. I want a smooth comfortable ride and I mostly crusie in this car except on the highway.
The good news is I am willing to upgrade to make the suspension better and if it makes sense I will spend the money.
The new floor pans and SFC are coming next month but I need to do this part first. My mechanic said get Monroe Sensor Track shocks. He said the air shocks tend to ride hard. Any opinions on this?
so what shocks, springs and struts should I buy?

Re: Shocks, springs and struts replacements
I just bought moog springs, and kyb gr2 struts and shocks for mine. I have not been able to drive it though so I cannot give you feedback on how it feels. I researched and some people are putting the gr2 struts on and gas kyb on the rear. Also the kybs are around the same price as the sensa tracs.

Re: Shocks, springs and struts replacements
I recently put the KYB GR2 strut and shocks on mine and it rides great for a weekend cruiser.
