Lifted rear suspension recommendation
I would like to get any recommendations about what kind of shocks to get for my rear, it is lifted about 5" up. I don't want to spend too much on it, any suggestions are appreciated.

I didn't do nothing, I bought it like that, just want to replace shocks as I am going to put 10" wide wheels (275,60,r15) in there - well, i dont know if they are going to fit in there yet

you can do what you like but I don't think 28" tall tires will look good on it.

Re: Lifted rear suspension recommendation
If it is 5" (how did you determine 5" high? where did you measure?) higher than stock, a previous owner musta changed something.
Got any pics?

Re: Lifted rear suspension recommendation
My back end sits higher than normal but that's only because I have 32" tall tires in the back. I don't think it's 5" over stock height though. There's no reason for a stock suspension car to be lifted up that high. It throws off a lot of geometry angles. These cars are not like old leaf spring cars with long shackles to get tire clearance. You can stuff a big tire under the fenders with the car still sitting at factory ride height.

Re: Lifted rear suspension recommendation
Pull those "washers" out, to start with. Only thing that should be between the springs & the car body is the 1 rubber insulator & that can even be taken out. Most people go for lowering a car, not lifting. What are you doing?
