Need some help with an issue with Tokico Illumina struts

I picked up a set of really low mileage front struts from someone who wrecked their car but I have a problem. The red adjustment screw on one of them broke...is the strut shot now(meaning the adjuster can't be fixed)? Tokico doesn't repair them, I'd have to go through a dealer but no one is getting back to me. I know I could just throw them in and probably not have a problem but the I don't know where the previous owner had them adjusted to.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
