Okay, heres one i doubt thats already on this site.

A nascar style sway bar off of some camaro race car, some sort of modified stock racing class. Im not from over the otherside of the pond so i dont know what class it would be from, anyone here know? It had solid plastic bushings on the tube, maybe nylon? Anyhow i figured thats going to be too hard for street use so i made up some poly ones and added grease fittings. End links have heim joints at the bar end with spacers already made up and some poly mounts at the control arm.

Major improvement over the stock rs sway bar, and as a bonus got rid of alot of slop in the steering. Barely feels the same car anymore

Im planning to do same to the rear by using one from a nascar, just have to get the height right and mount to the body. Me thinks il need to do some calculations first...

The way the swaybar is built kind of excludes the nescessity for the wonderbar.

End link attachment nut looks a little close to the shock. Does it rub when you turn the wheel?

Does it clear the bump stop on the A-Arm?

I also agree at that point a wonderbar shouldn't be needed because you have a solid bar between the sway bar mount points.

Havent noticed any rubbing so far, was made for stock suspension as far as i am aware.

Ah Maybe ur right about the wonderbar, its a solid moly sway bar suprisingly heavy Might explain lack of body roll round corners now as a result

Has about half an inch clearance on the bump stops

Pretty rare find it was, also have some ground control strut mounts with adjustable plates and spherical bushings, cant wait to fit those
Came of the same race car, some street racing class, based on a stock chassis, any ideas the name of it??

the bar should have had no effect on the steering "slop", so it if did, something is binding or is just a "placebo" effect.

how much clearance do you have to the k-member pocket? looks close.

is there enough free movement in the single rod end to keep it from binding?

i put a 3pc rear bar on my 92, mounted on the crossmember i made for the mumford link.

you are right, that can change the steering feel.
