UMI Hardware

I bought a set of UMI bolt-in LCA relocation brackets from a friend but they are missing the hardware.

Is there a type of alloy UMI uses in the hardware kit or will grade 8 bolts from the hardware store work?

Thanks man.

Do they sell grade 10 at the hardware store?

We have an ACE over here that has a hardware aisle that puts Lowes and home depot to shame.

We use Grade 8 for SAE and Grade 10.9 for Metric.

Do you have the sleeves at all?

He had one of the sleeves. I am hoping the hardware store has something that will work for the other one.

What is a grade 10 bolt?

For SAE bolts, normal goes up to Grade 8. Grade 9 is available at some places (not the local hardware store), but completely unnecessary for this application.

For Metric bolts 10.9 is about equivalent to Grade 8. 12.9 is also available but unnecessary for this application.

Never have I seen a grade 10 bolt. But you learn something new every day.
