New track times and mods

I made it to the track last night for the first time since i did my mods. it was a hot muggy night so i think i can still gain a couple tenths on a cooler night.
stock my car is an 88 camaro 305 tbi w/auto and 2.73 gears.
my best stock time was 2.4 60ft and 16.4 @ 82.9 mph in the qtr.

since then i have put 3.73 gears with posi. edelbrock tes headers, catco cat, and hooker cat back, all 3" and edelbrock 14x3 open element.

my best time last night was 2.2 60ft and 15.7 @ 87.9 mph.
I ran a couple of 15.8's but with wheel hop off the line. i am hapy with my times right now but they will improve, i hope.

What is your track's height? With that MPH you have mid 15s in your car, but you still must be spinnin pretty bad off the line. See if you can borrow a friends drag radials or something. Dont forget the free mods, too! Timing and ultimate TBI mods go a long way. I picked up .4 sec from them!

The height of the track i am guessing is only a couple hundred feet about see level..(New England Dragway)
Yea I did spin off the line and I think i get cut a few tenths off if i get some slicks.

I have all the same mods as you except for the 3.73 gears and posi which are going on in a few weeks. Im going to the track wednesday night and hoping to hit at least 15.6, relocation brackets are going on tomorrow and i have other suspension mods so hopefully traction wont be a problem. Ill keep you all updated with my times.
