Do a search but it will basically involve a full exhaust, a bigger cam, some work to the heads or different ones, gears, and alot of DIY chip work.

To put it very simply, engines are like air pumps, you basically want to get as much air in and as much air out as you possibly can.

Start by reading the stickies at the top of the page, especially the "New to TBI" thread. That will give you some good ideas on how and/or where to start. Just be patient, and don't be afraid to ask questions. We all had to start somewhere.

First, a massive tuneup.All fluids/filters/wires/plugs/pcv valve/dist cap/rotor.Run a injector/fuel system cleaner through.Do a brake job and shock/strut job.Tires/alignment etc....What ever needs to be done

Headers/Y-Pipe
High Flow Cat
3 Inch Catback
Open Element with K&N Filter and Xtreme Flo top
3 Piece Underdrive Pulley set

Then see what ever you have left over if you dont do installations yourself.

Don't waist your time on the pulleys. All the other mods recommended are key. Instead of pulleys maybe gears and a posi.

You may want to consider gears as your first mod. My friend just recently swaped out his 2.73 gears for 3.73's in his mustang. I know it's not a thirdgen but we got very good before and after g-tech pro times with the swap. He dropped from a consistant 15.1 to a 14.6 with nothing more than the gears. If your car has 2.73's do the gear and posi swap first then dive into the exhaust and cam swap. You may want to stick with 3.42's instead of the 3.73's since your camaro has a deeper first gear in the tranny and your OD isn't quite as low.

Ohh, and don't underestimate the power of DIY tuning.

Yes, especially if you're looking for the most power you will be able to obtain in the long run.

BM has good advice do that. It is crazy how much a gear swap will make in some instances.
