Spanking a stock 89 GTA w/LT1 engine

What else I need to add to my engine (Check my signature below) to spank my friends car a 89 GTA with corvette LT1 motor? I will add some better heads, intake, 454TBI, and SLP 1 3/4 headers later unless I find a good paying network administrator job soon the present networking job sucks. Thanks!

Transmission: fixed the 700r4 again!
hate to point this out an an lt1 with the aluminum heads with roast your engine if its in good shape.. at the min you would need better heads and full exhaust to even be close .. if you want to compete you woudl prob need a cifferant injection system or spray

Nothing wrong with his induction system. I ran a 13.8@98 mph with a similar flat tappet cam and 305 heads on a 350. That will spank a LT1. You need full exhaust and you REALLY need to learn to burn your own chips. I'm surprised your motor even runs with that cam you have now. There is a bunch of power locked up in your combo as it sits.

BMmonteSS, I have a 3in exhaust from the y-pipe to the muffler with 2.5 dual behind the catback and I'm in the process of modifying a chip I got from tbichips that got me started. Do you think I need more than 15psi with a 80lb injectors? Thanks!

nope, thats a good fuel pressure and injector sizing for your application.... it will support your power and give you a nice pulse width to play with
