Pablo: TBI Big Block?

Pablo, I just obtained a L05 Caprice and
I'm thinking, come next summer a TBI big
block should just drop right in. I'm thinking
that if I get a complete 454 TBI engine and
a custom chip, w/headers & exhaust, I think
the stock ECM will drive it with few issues.

Any input?

Not quite, I'll be +.030 and a nice cam, a low profile single plane manifold and some
port work, nothing radical as I need the
700R4 to live behind it. I think the harnesses (TBI & sensors) is pretty much the same. I couldn't imagine that they would be terribly dissimilar.

I haven't run it at Bandimere yet. I still
have to fix the TCC lockup issue and to tune the carb (Jet stage II Quadrajet). I can tell you this tho, it'll sit at the light an
boil those 275/40-17's as long as I have gas and rubber with NO brakes at all. As soon as I know more I'll post it here.
