Will V6 rearend fit into 1992 RS w/350?????
I found a 3.4? rear out of a Berlinetta. Question is will this be strong enough to hold my 300 h.p.??? Just wondering.

as long as the miles aren't too many and it hasn't been abused its pretty much as strong as the one you got. There was a change in axle splines some year but I forgot which year it was.

The 92 rearend is stronger, the axles were made stronger in 90 or 91 and have more splines on them, I would just have the gears changed and add a Auburn or Zexel Torsen posi unit to it.

yup. it should hold fine. Get it, and if you manage to break it, replace parts at that time, because you have something better to upgrade at this point. But I wouldn't put any parts into it until one give up the ghost, which should be a bt if it is good shape. Watch them c-clips!
