TB unit limits
i was wondering what the limits are, as far as cfm goes, on the stock TB unit and the max hp they are good for? i was wondering the same thing for the 454 TB unit. i need to know b/c im building an l03 for 300+ hp and ive been told that TBI cant support that much. is that just with the stock TBI unit or is that with all TBI?

take your throttle body and do the ultimate TBI mods. then bore it 48mm and use TPI throttle blades. your gonna need an AFPR and a stronger fuel pump. i would use atleast copcar injectors-then your gonna need to learn to burn chips but to answere your question-yes it is possible
--the cfm of anything being ported is directly related to the "porter"
as for how much horse power these TBI's can handle-their is no definite answer cause so many other things come into play. theirs the theoretical answer that uses formulas to determin how much air + fuel is needed for a certain HP but that will only get you in the ball park
but you can look up FAST355 and read some of his post and adventures and it a give you a better idea
someone else on here will have some opinions also but to be honest this question may be getting kinda old to some of the other guys-not tryin to be rude just letting you know
best of luck
