Resistor, for a little more go go juice

I have a 89 RS 305TBI here are the few mods:
better flowing induction via ultimate TBI mods, Hooker catback w/ hi flow cat, timing advance to 4 deg.. other than that its stock,Do I need a little more gas. If so what resister do I use. Oh and the resister goes in the sensor thats inside the air filter area, right?

Why doe's everyone do these stuipid tricks? Putting a resitor in place of a sensor ranks right up there with rice boys and there stickers.

If you're running lean, you have other problems that should be addressed before you go cutting sensors out of the picture. And there are correct ways to add fuel...

I wouldn't call that "mod" "rice", but it's pretty sloppy. In the same neighborhood as duct taping a plastic bag to your car instead of replacing a broken window.

resistor is starting point, seems simple to newbies, might see something gained, mostly imaginary, but it can change the fuel settings.

using your correct iat is best for drivabiltiy. quick strip, put one in, take it out before you go home.

btw, i am against using a resistor to tune your car all the time. it is sloppy, but can lead to somebody trying things learning and realizing. "hey, i guess i can sorta work on my car without breakin it". really though, reading first is best, dont use it as a crutch.
