So im build a 350 tbi bored .30 over flat top hypereutectic pistons elderbrock performer intake comp extreme energy k12-249-4 249/260 lift 434./.444 shorty headers and brian harries chip that fits all those applications what kinda of base time should i set new to all this and i believe my exhaust is 2.5 inch and its true dual 350 turbo transmission and was also wonder what kinda power it mighy make but i am running factory 193 swirl port heads with comp magnum 1.5 rockers just because its a 4x4 not a race truck just looking for alil more power
also put a 96 fuel pump with adjustable fuel regulator for alil more psi what would be a good psi to run i know its alot of question just looking for info thank in advance

Yes sir just because its in my truck and not making it a race truck just better then stock and everything im doing stops power around 4800-5000 rpms

While it's not an exact answer to your original question, I do know that the factory heads like little to no advance at idle. I wouldn't expect that to change too wildly with the changes you have made, but then again, I'm no engine builder either.

When I played with the timing on my stock LO3 305 TBI back around '91 / '92, I pretty quickly discovered that 2 or 3* of advance may have provided a slight benefit (or I may have just convinced my self it did), anything more than that offered no reward at all.

Where do you have the timing set currently? Have you tried advancing it at all?

As mentioned above, checking with the gentlemen who provided the tune would be a good place to start with both the timing and fuel pressure questions.

I do know when i called comp this is the cam the suggested for my application and it cut 5* advanced when installed at zero

Cam advance and timing advance are two completely different things.

I have that same cam, engine and heads in a jeep. If I remember correctly it doesn't require any tuning modifications (from comp cams). I have 2* initial and runs great about 13-14 PSI fuel. I would think you will still need to tune it to get absolute best performance. But should run fine with stock tune.
