evap canister

can i remove my evap, if so how can i do this.

yes you can remove the evap. canister very easily. first thing you need to do is unplug the connector on it, then remove the vacuum lines from it. one of the vaccum lines goes to the TB. you must plug it up with a rubber cap. another line goes to the fuel vent line. i left my fuel line open to vent the tank. i cant think of any other line that is connected to it but if it is a vacuum line you have to plug it up from where it came from. you will not set any codes either from taking it out.

Make sure you have a relief type fuel cap if you do this.

Vader, why wouldI need a relief type cap when the vent tube from the tank that was connected to the evap canister is just left uncapped
