AFR or fastburn heads
I was planning to use a miniram or lt1 on a 383. Which heads would flow better or make more power, I would be running at high rpms like 6500.

The AFR are far superior and i thin are about the same price. The fastburns are pretty much just aluminum vortecs. They are good but not that good.

From what i understand the AFRs, but i will be using the fastburns b/c thats what came with the motor! I am also using the miniram. They are basically aluminum vortecs but from what i have heard they have great potential when worked. I did not have any work done to them. They are on the crate motor. Out of the box the AFRs from what people say! good luck

I think saying the Fastburns and the Vortecs are pretty much the same is like saying a Cavalier is pretty much a Camaro.
