How many of you have replaced the cam with the engine in the car? is there room to drop the oil pan enough to get the timeing cover off and on? Thanks.

I've done it a couple of times, plenty of room, just have to remove some stuff, and bend the front support bars in front the radiator a little.
Also, the oil pan, just take out the front 2 screws that should give you enough access room to put the timing gasket on.

Be carefull not to nick the cam bearings when taking out the cam. It's pretty tight pulling it out with the engine still in the car. As for the oil pan, I agree with them.
