Ok, I have a 1987 Trans Am. I am not totally sure if it is a 350 or a 305 ... still ... anyways, would they use the same flywheel, and is it a 1 piece seal or a 2 piece seal? I need to get a clutch/flywheel/pressure plate/etc for the t-56 I got. It is from a 94 Camaro.

Another question, I found these things called "Adjustable Master Cylinders" Would they allow me to adjust the friction point on the clutch? (i.e. less clutch pedal travel to get the clutch engaged?) Also, this may be a REAL dumb question, but my only experience has been on an auto tranny so here goes (idiot mode on) I was under the impression that the master cylinder and slave cylinder were one unit. Is this correct? If I buy an adjustable master cylinder for the above reason or some other good reason, do I still need a slave cylinder?

Next: Do I need any specific pedals for this setup? Do I need 4th gen pedals, or will 3rd gen pedals work, etc.

What are some good clutch setups? I really don't want to go over $500 for it but I dont want a clutch that will burn to pieces in 10,000 miles, or a flywheel which will be chronically unbalanced.

Lastly, is there anything obvious I am forgetting here: t-56, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, bell housing, clutch fork, slave/master cylinder, pedals, shifter, cross member, misc bolts.

Ok I asked about 4 questions up there. I still need answers for all of 'em. If you have it, spare the knowledge. I think I provided all info necessary, but if something is not there, ask I need to get this thing set up fast......especially if I want to make it to SLP Customer Appreciation Day in Ennis lol
