Centerbolt heads on pre 86

I know someone who is selling a set of 90 corvette aluminum heads ported and polished and new manley valves but only the 1.94 and 1.6 valves for 500 dollars is that a good deal also i have a 79 350 block would they bolt up to the block i know the intakes are different

hmm not really sure if its a good deal or not cause i've never seen any flow numbers on those heads but i'd assume it is.. and yes they should bolt right up.. could be wrong tho..

Actually, a good set of STOCK L98 Alum Vette heads go for an easy $300-400. Depending on who did the porting etc, sounds like a decent deal.


And the intakes AREN'T different. The L98 alum heads have the same angle intake bolts as '86 and OLDER. Only iron heads changed the center intake bolt angle in '87.

Thanks for the info I had no idea about the way the intake holes were drilled that helps a lot.
