lol... if anyone needs that its me. I always got D's in HS english.
Try the motor swap board. Alot of those guys have done this swap. The general concensious is that its easier to buy a V8 car unless there is some sort of sentemental attachment to your present car. At teh very least youll need a V8 donor car to supply all the parts youll need to complete the swap.

Why avoid injection? Cost, or because it's hard to understand? I'd go with injection over carb any day.
What dimented said is right; there's so many differences that you'll be constantly running out to a junkyard for parts, unless you gut everything and only run a few wires to the alternator, horn, and distributor. And if you're on a budget, you could probably find a thrashed v8 car pretty cheap. Even if you don't use it's motor, you'll need the rest of the junk.

I would'nt go FI unless you have a complete swap setup with computer, harness, everything.
Go carb, it will be much cheaper and easier to do.

Not hard at all i think most 305 came carbed, i'm probably wrong though.
Ok yes, i would say most 305 cars are carbed. This is because the earlier models had the greatest production numbers. And most had carbs!

Just use a holley 600 or 650 carb on that 305. Use a roller block with the 1 piece rear seal for the best of both worlds.

We need a filter that translates retard speek to proper english. Wouldn't that make answering questions more tolerable? I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to implement if someone is willing to write the code for it. You know.. if "da" output "the" and such. Of course one must have a thorough grasp of retard speek to accomplish such an endeavour.

I didn't call you anything, you came to that conclusion yourself. I was simply sharing an idea I came up with.
But seriously, trubble? Trouble is the same amount of letters, why is it necessary to mispell it? "n e wayz" takes more effort than using the correct word. It's very difficult to take someone seriously who calls their car "cam" and calls their audience "doodz." I'm sure you see my point. I'm sorry if I offended you.
Plenty of T5s have held up to fairly powerful 350s. You need to figure out exactly what kind of power you're going to making and don't neglect the rest of the car. If you're going to race it a lot, it'll likely break eventually, regardless of how much power is bolted up to it.
