identifying an engine
a friend of mine has an engine sitting in his garage that the person who sold it to him said was from a '92 camaro, it's a TPI setup with an automatic, how would i go about figuring out if it's a 305 or 350(L98)?
thanx

other than pulling a head and checking the size of the hole you can run the casting numbers on www.mortec.com

Look and see if there is a displacement or engine size cast into the block. Like a 5.7, 5.0 or 350 cast in to the side of the block.
