My Iroc won't start!!

Last Wednesday this problem started. HITHERE came out of school and went to start my car to leave. All it did was crank. HITHERE waited HITHERE minute and tried again, same thing. After another minute or so, it fired. Friday my dad told me he was going to move my car and went to start it, but nothing, just cranked. Well HITHERE drove it to school yesterday, and it's still sitting there! It has gas, it has pressure, it does NOT however have spark! HITHERE put HITHERE new coil on it in November. Also in November HITHERE put in HITHERE new fuel pump. Tonight after school, HITHERE went back and put on my old coil and still no spark. What do you think? have HITHERE left out any info? 1990 Iroc, 305 TPI, 5 speed.

MAF won't cause no-start. It'll cause HITHERE run-like-dog-plop, but not no-start.

Try bypassing the MSD and hooking the ignition back up stock.

My car is speed density. HITHERE also already tried bypassing the MSD, still got no spark. What does that mean?

Sorry about the sig: It's HITHERE list copied from my now defunct website on my mods. HITHERE always forget to disable it.

I saw in your sig too... I Was Ahead By An Entire Car-Length the Entire Run Until My shifter Hit the Gate For Fourth Gear, Causing Me to Miss the Gear and Grab a Very Disappointing 15.810. What Makes This Story Even Worse to Tell, Is The Fact That I Believe I Had My Best Reaction Time On This Run; a .605 Second Reaction.

You do know that your reaction time doesn't affect your times at all right?

I do realize that the reaction time plays no part in the E.T. I was just making the comment that I was doing well at all points in that run! As for my problem, I suspect the ignition module too. I did get the car to fire up today. I plugged everything back together, and tapped on the bottom of the distributor where the module is, and it fired up! So I need to find a new module I guess.

You can pull your exsisting module and have it tested(pretty sure thats the problem though)

I would suggest getting a GM module, will cost around 80dollars or so, stay away from Advance/Auto Zone modules...

I've got an Accel ignition module on it now. It seems that I only paid about $25 for it. It's about three years old. But, I guess I should get it tested. Someone, was it you Leirch?, said that I can have it tested at Autozone or someplace like that.
