Slow Cranking

I've been having some problems with slow cranking and was hoping you guys could help. The problem started after swapping on the LT1 intake. During the swap only the intake was changed. Now, the car won't even crank fast enough to fire off. The starter is a year old CVR unit, checks out fine. The grounds have been checked, all seem fine. The battery was changed out to a known good battery, no change. I'm using a remote solenoid that is also less than a year old. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks.

Lose the remote solenoid and see if it helps. You shouldn't need it with a quality starter on there rather than a Delco one.

I put the remote solenoid on because the battery's in the trunk and was having some heat soak problems. I was planning to hook the battery back up in the front tomorrow though and see if that helped anything.
