305 question.
I know, I know, there has to be at least 20 people saying why bother with a 305, just get a 350. Well, just because. Anyway, here it goes:
I've got an 89 L03 305 that i am going to get the heads ported and polished with 1.94, 1.50 int, ex valves, milled to 58cc with a comp camps .500, .500 cam. and replaces the whole valvetrain with new parts. I am hoping to see 300 hp at the flywheel. I already have an edelbrock intake, holley 600, headman hedders, HEI dist with accel coil and wires, plus flowmasters. I've let the engine breath as much as possible without changing the internals. Now it's time to change that.
My question is, Will the bottom end hold the HP and tourque from all these mods. It has 70,000 miles with a 700R4 trans. (yes, i know i need a new stall also) Any opinions or advise or even just thoughts would be great. Thanks for all the help so far.

I dont think the 416's will flow enough For that Cam. No matter How ported.
What Cam is it ?
------------------
60 Ranchero - Project ( Money Hole )
85 Sport Coupe LG4 - Daily Driver
Just another Hot Rod kid, or thats what they all tell me.
