Ahhh. Thanks guys. That's what I figured but I wanted to be sure since the one they sent is nicer than stock.

Hi guys, excuse me for asking this dumb question, but what advantage is there for using a Hypertech fan switch? Just wanted to know. Thanks.

On some cars, replacing the secondary fan switch can result in a lower fan cut-in temperature. This is a logical step in cases where the thermostat has been changed to something rated below the 195°F stock unit.
If your car has a dual electric fan system, you might want to explore the benfits of a cooler than stock thermostat and lower temperature fan control. Even if you have a singlew electric fan, or an older car with a clutch fan, you can still benefit from a lower coolant temperature. Search the tech Articles and message archives for some of the reasons, then decide.
